Call stating they are from IRS and that someone in the household has committed fraud against the IRS. Not possible in my household but secondly the IRS NEVER calls, they send registered letters or other correspondence.
I let it go to voicemail. Half of the recorded message was cut off. Telling me to call the number back before I am arrested or have to go to small claims court. I agree with Joe (above), this must be another scam.
I got the same call. I was thinking I would call the IRS to verify if the call was legit or not. I agree that the IRS would communidate via registered mail, though.
