calling to say urgent message about credit card-----I don't have card with this company--tried to get them to remove my number from call list ,they just hung up on me.
Received a call from this number on my cell phone - caller ID indicated Charlotte, NC. I answered and got a pre-recorded message saying they were calling about my Cardinal account, that there was nothing wrong with my account, but they wanted to talk to me right away about lowering my interest rates. I, of course, have no account with them. I did stay on the line a while so I could let them know to remove my number from their call list - I got another recorded message that "all their operators were busy" and then I was on hold for a minute. I hung up without speaking directly with anyone because I don't have the time to mess with this, but these types of calls always make me wonder who in the world falls for this stuff!
