I have received a call from this phone number EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past week. I researched it and found out it is a SAT prep academy soliciting for sales. This is illegal, is it not, as I am on the Do Not Call list? I have to pay for every single call I receive on my cell phone and certainly don't want telemarketers calling my personal cell phone line.
SAT prep academy called asking to speak to the parents of my daughter, a high school junior. Apparently she got on their call list - this was not a solicited call. I did not answer, but called back after hours and got their voicemail, which included instructions to get on their Do Not Call list, which clearly indicates they are cold calling for sales which is probably illegal if you are already on the national DNC list.
