Some unrecognizable survey company with a caller (man’s U.S. voice) wanting to know if I voted for Thom Tillis (press 1) or the Hag Hagan (press 2). When I pushed NO button an Asian sounding woman stated: I did not here your respond. Lady the correct answer is response. Must have been a Hagan donor from China.
704-209-7585 I have received numerous calls from this number; no messages were left. This evening I answered. It is an automated political survey from the Center for Causal Research, which is licensed in Arlington, Virginia. There was a disclaimer statement that said the poll was not authorized or affiliated with any candidate or political party. There were about a half-dozen questions, focusing on Thom Tillis and Kay Hagan, who are running for a NC Senate seat. (Hagan is the incumbent.) Questions included, who do you think has the better economic policy, who has the better immigration policy, and which candidate do you think better understands "people like you." Demographic information requested was gender and age range. No option given to be removed from the call list. May be a legitimate research company, but I am leery because a Google search only identified the company as being an LLC in Virginia. NO other listings, which is highly unusual.
This number called me 3 times today alone and numerous times over the past few weeks. I do not wish to take their survey and am really annoyed that there is no way to talk to a human to complain or apparently to have them stop calling.
Same problems as everyone else is having with these people- they call repeatedly and don't leave message and if you pick up the call is automated and there is no option to be put on do not call list so called the # back and got voice mail so left message telling them not to call me ever again and that I was going to report them. It is so annoying!
