So I called this gentleman back - his name is JOHN - and after telling him that we have no business with him and that we already use a different electric company, HE HUNG UP ON ME! He said he was from Commercial Electric. This man is rude and sly - do not use them!

Got the same phone call today. Said his name was John Warren. He tried to get the owner's cell number. Told me he was running an errand for him and needed his number. When I pushed for details he admitted he wasn't doing a project for us, but was trying to get a price list to the owner. This guy is sneaky and deceitful in how he tries to get to the right person. He's called before, and we only use one electrician. He tried to tell me he was our electrician. When I told him I knew he WASN'T our electrician, he hung up on me. I've gotten calls from these types of companies before. Ultimately, it's a scam. They get you to buy over-priced lighting ballasts & fixtures for your business. It works like the scams for toner and ink cartridges for your office's printers. Be aware of who you are talking to...ask questions...and ALWAYS take a message rather than giving someone else's cell number to call. btw..."John" told me this was his cell number. I'm sure he uses his cell phone because this way the number can't be traced back to a particular business through reverse look-up.
O got a call from him just a minute ago. He is very sly and a great talker. He almost slipped an order in on me without me knowing. Make sure you pay attention to what he says. He uses slippery techniques to get you to order something and you don't even realize you just agreed to an order. After I realized what he had done, and told him I didn't want to order, he finalized his call and hung up. His very deceptive tactics leads you in, but also makes you realize that he is buttering you up for a slick sale. Always pay attention to what exactly it is he is saying. I immediately googled his name and business and pulled this site up.
