They called for my boyfriend said they was from the office of investigations and wouldnt tell me what it was about

SCAM - There is no office of investigations.  They will be demanding money from you (possibly claiming to be the IRS or for  an unpaid loan that you never had).  Phone calls are not official notification of anything - regardless of what that caller says.
