CID says "Wingate, NC", but it's probably a "spoofed" phone number which is a "hijacked" phone that's either out of service or a disposable cell phone bought at a Walmart. Unlike many of these calls, you CAN return call this number. Someone answered and said "Federal Benefit Center, this is Jason". I quickly hung up and blocked the number. I got a little curious so I called again and this time "LaKesah" answered and when I asked why I was called by this number she asked me my name and when I said "no" and asked again why I'm getting calls from this number she said "Nuh uhhh". and hung up. I called right back and assuming it was me she answered, didn't speak but I could hear her breathing, then she just hung up. So that's all the proof one needs to know NOT TO CALL or ANSWER CALLS from this number. IT'S SOME SCAM!
Just called that number again from a different phone, and here's what I got: Again a black female operator asked me my name and I politely said that I'd like to know who I'm speaking to and maybe then I'll give you my name. She said my name is "Miss Jackson" and this has to do with your V.A. Loan- I cut her off and told her I don't have a V.A. loan, thank you and we hung up politely. I'm going to further investigate just what kind of a SCAM this is. KEEP IGNORING THIS NUMBER, Even if you DO HAVE a V.A. loan!
