I am used to this now. Since I have gone on vacation and used RCI or anywhere in the south USA affiliated to RCI.
Very common thing that everyone does in the USA:
1) give your SSN to anyone who asks for it. (This is a NO NO in Canada)
2) give your phone number to whoever asks for it.
I made the mistake #2.
now I get calls from 704-248-2961; 919-595-4892; 843 249-8746; 716-829-7367 and the list goes on and on....
and yet they are all the same. or they try to sell you vacation spots telling you that there is $500 waiting for you. Not to mention the rudeness on the phone.
Don't give your numbers any more especially SSN. no matter if you have to rent a place. I am sure there are other forms of insurabce available.
From what I have seen in the previous posts, it may be a burglary ring attempting to establish a pattern when someone is in the house. I would be extremely cautious answering the phone if this number repeatedly calls and does not answer when you do.
Repeated phone calls from this number. No message left.
For the owners of the number - if it's important enough to call me, then leave a message with a phone number I can reach you at. I do not answer numbers I do not recognize. If you leave a message, I will call back.
