It shows as a VoiP number in Lenoir, NC. I received a call today also but no message was left. Called it back and received
"Hi this is Julie from reward redemption., We called you because you recently visited one of our affiliate websites" (yeah, sure I did). She then said she had a $100 rebate gift card. Press one for the card and two to be placed on their Do Not Call list.
Got a call from this number at 11 pm EST.
First was told it was bc I'd visited a website about a $100 rebate. Not!!!!
Live person came on the phone and asked me my name. Said, no, but I would give phone number. Asked repeatedly for my name. I replied that they'd called me, and as such, my number should be sufficient. Dude got rude. Told him telemarketing calls after 9p violated federal law, and he shortly hung up on me. But, I will report it. Told him I am disabled and he woke me up. This is crap.
Still pissed off bc ride dude hung up on me. So, called it back to ask not to be called again. After automated person, 'Julie,' answered, and heard msg about $100, got live person on the phone. He identified himself as 'Joseph.' Prolly a lie. I asked what company he worked for, he said Creative Solutions. Originally he denied talking to me bf, but when I told him I recorded calls from telemarketers, he stepped back. I told him I did not appreciate being hung up on bf, and as a disabled woman, I did not appreciate being called at this time of night, as sleep is precious to me. He denied being a telemarketer. Which prompted me to ask what website I visited that prompted the original incoming call I received. Silence. I told him the FTC made it illegal to make sea calls after 9p, and tried to tell him not to call here again...as he talked over me. He then said 'as I told you on our last call...' And I thanked him for admitting we'd spoken a few minutes ago, and to being a liar. And, helping me with any FTC case I might have against him AND his company. Separately. He then hung up again. I hate VOiP calls, and bottom feeder scum suckers like this dude and his company.
