Caller id'd themself as working for american disabled veterans. Wanted to send me a packet to pick up a payment. When i identified with myself as working for veterans employment service, and said i was not familiar with the organization, and needed to research, he hung up.
Caller asked for an unknown person. He then asked to speak to the man or woman of the house. American accent and the same old scam of asking for some made up name.
I am a substitute teacher so I have to answer calls I don't recognize. I have gotten 2 from this number. They ask for Sharon and I tell them they have the wrong #. (No one in my family named Sharon). Then say "Well, maybe you can help me....." Then he talks about disabled veterans. I have hung up both times before he finishes.
