called my unlisted cell today... and left no VMS. Given the previous complaints, I just blocked this number rather than ever be bothered by this unknown caller again.
NOTE: if you would like to stop receiving calls or want to find out who the callers are without calling them back where your number will be shown on their caller ID, dial *67 in front of their number, put it on speaker & mute. Listen for what company they say they are. If you feel comfortable enough to talk to them, and they don't say who they are to begin with, just ask them who they are and say wrong number. Hang up. Then go into your phone, especially if you were using a cell phone, enter their number into your contacts with a name such as spam or junk and follow it by some numbers. I have a list of them a mile long LOL!! You have to do each one separately, hence using different numbers for each call. You can't block a large set. At the bottom of the contact list thing you should see where you can block the caller. This way if they call you again you will know exactly who it is and not to answer.
Regarding this call, I called them back and blocked it first. It said they would not except calls from the phone numbers that are blocked. So I used a different phone and called without blocking. It was obviously a telemarketer because they mention research rewards. Hung up and immediately did what I said above and blocked them.
Called my work # and said they got it by a online survey. LIE. And for answering their survey I would be eligible for tonights drawing of a $200 gift card. I will not repeat what I said to the bot, but they said they would remove my #.
