I received a call today on my cell phone about 3:10 pm, rang twice which tells mr thet were crooks! Would like to see them in. He!!. I'm older and don't need the aggraviaton. Wish our 'Do not call" system worked but since the government can't get their Obamacare site to work,what the Heck! Just do not answer any call from bumpers you don't recognize!
Was on my cell phone caller ID, but not message left. This appears to be a local phone number, but guess what? It's not! I called the number & got a recording saying that I had been called because they have a free gift for me as I had visited one of their websites. I was instructed to press 1 to receive my gift or press 9 to be removed. I pressed "1" and got someone with a foreign accent who insisted on having my first and last name. I asked what website I had visited and was told it was not necessarily a website, but perhaps I'm a customer of one of several retailers in my area. WHAT A SCAM! He would not tell me anything more unless I would give may name. I just hung up. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
