received a call from this number at place of business asking for an employee. when we told them the employee no longer worked here, we were called "stupid" Liar" etc.... they continued to call back 20 times from a blocked number. Definitely India accent.
I have been receiving the same type of calls. they have called me from 3 different phone numbers and very rude. They have used three different names. I called the number back and asked for John who just called and left my message with my friend that I have a law suit agaianst me and that if iI didn't return his call that he would send someone out to my house and have me arrested. So when I called them back and asked for John, Paul answered the phone and transferred me over to someone name Raymond claiming to be John's supervisor. I told him at this point I had no need to talk to John's supervisor that I was returning a call to John. Make a long story short, he would never tell me who he was representing. Told me to write dowwn a file number and his name and number and to call him only about this matter. I asked him did he have a 800 number I could call he said that that was only provided to new clients. I finally got him to say he was representing cash advance. He claimed that i owed them money from sometime between June and July (what a joke). I told him that I lived down the street from a cash advance and that I was going there to talk to them and said do what you want to do and hung up the phone. Not 5 minutes later I got as call from my job stating that he was calling me at work, not only that he was calling back to back asking to speak to me and calling my co-worker all kinds of names. She had to call the local police department and had them come in and deal with these people. Please be aware, this all came about while trying to apply for a payday loan that i did not get. When I tried to a[pply for one I fiulled out one application and then it tells you that you are approved from certain lenders, well when I clicked on the lenders name it asked me to fill out another application. That was my first indication that something was not right about the website, Why did I have to fill out another application if I was already pre-approved with them so i closed out and decided not to get the loan. All I have gotten is a bunch of emails from lenders and these phone calls from these people. I felt so bad that my co-worker had to deal with this
I started receiving phone calls from the number in October originally stating that I had failed to pay off a home loan out of North Carolina. The phone calls became more and more frequent changing the reason for the calls to a failure to pay off a pay day loan, which I had never applied for. I explained to one of the four gentlemen that called me today at 1500 PST name of Mike Foster stating that I needed to pay this unpaid debt prior to legal evolvement by the federal government,, at which time I respecfully asked for whyhe address for their organization and supervisors name to file a complaint. I was transferred to a man named steve hogan, whom became very hostile and made threats of raping my wife and kidnapping my children if I did not make a payment to them today. Mr. Hogan then began making threats of coming to my house and running me down with his car. Needless to say I informed the local authorities of the harassment and threats to my family.
Same thing as everyone else. It is illegal for any debt collector to give out personal information to anyone or to leave it on your voice mail. Also, if you've asked them to stop calling and they refuse, it's a good sign it is NOT a legitimate business.
These people called our office 12 times today asking for the same person. We told them that that person did not work here. On the final call I told them to stop calling me, they still called again and asked for a salesperson. I called the number back and asked that we be removed from their call list and the guy told me to "quit busting his britches" and hung up. So far so good, they have not called back yet.
