Missed the call and wasn't sure who it was from and so I called it back and it said that it the survey that they called about was now closed and if I wanted to taken off the list to press something but I had been told to hit the # over and over and that would make the machine/robo call bot think it was a device like a fax so  that they would consider it a dead number...
worth a shot... LOL
