A guy who claims to be private investigator Jack Geren who says I have sent pictures to an underage girl. Says the family wont press any charges but I need to send him money. He knew my name as well but this has fraud written all over it
Paying money to avoid charges is a crime in itself called Bribing a law enforcement officer. These are not law enforcement officer but pretend to be one, often using the name of a real officer. If you had indeed sent pictures, they wouldn't be calling you they would be knocking on your door and interrogating you. Do not pay this scum one red cent, and report them to real law enforcement for their extortion attempt.
I got the same number calling me for money except his daughter had a pof profile and says she is 20 she then flirts and asksf or your number then you get a call from her father and he says she is 16 and is going to report you to the cops unless yous send money . I freaked out until my roommate and me looked the number up and found out he is scamming people.
