Caller identified as representing the North Carolina Troopers Association. This organization is not affiliated with the N.C. Highway Patrol and none of the money goes to it. I asked to be taken off their list and hung up on the caller.
NC Troopers Assoc. This is a collection company that asks for donations to help the families of injured State Troopers. I wonder if those Troopers will help my family if I get hurt?
They call =all= the time! Today they called 2x and the line was dead when I answered. The 3rd time, some hours later, the guy says he's with the NC Trooper's Assoc and asks "Is this XXX (my Mom, who died)?"
No, I say - and he says, 'I wanted to speak with either of you.' I try to tell him to take me off the list and he just keeps talking over me. Finally I started yelling into the phone, saying they call ALL THE TIME and I want them to stop and take me off the list. Then I hung up.
They also have another line its 704 310-9575. I have had it with these people. They say they are with the NC Troppers association. I have friends and family that work for the state patrol and I can assure you this is a scam.. This has got to stop. How the hell did they get both my numbers?
