This isn't really a scam most insurance companies will call when you post a resume. I just posted mine monday and I have already been offer three jobs at three different companies. They are just looking for warm bodies. It doesn't cost them anything to hire you because you are straight commision. You can't work for them until you obtain a license which is also at your expense. Also they do the pyrimad thing too. It's just life insurance company.
This number left a very muffled voice mail message about my posted resume. When I called back, the answering machine was also very muffled. I did not leave a message, but they called back within a few minutes (after seeing my call to them). They kept asking for my phone number posted on my resume, presumably to pull up my information from the many calls they were making. When I asked their company name, they said it was Bankers Life and Casualty Company, then immediately asked for my number again. My experience is nothing like banking or insurance, and when I told them this, they quickly said that they provide extensive training and again asked for my number. I told them I was not interested and hung up. It sounded very fishy to me! Beware.
Thank you so much for speaking out! I just got a call from this number about some banking casualty. They mumbled so it was hard to understand. Thank you guys for posting I'm sure this is scam.
So funny, I literally just watched my phone ring - like 2 minutes ago. I was tempted to pick it up, but something told me not to. And after reading all of this, I am glad that I didn't. Thank you so much you guys for the warning!
