Robo call about a vacation package. I pushed 1 to talk to someone, (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can) a guy came on the line and asked if I was over 28 years old and I said yes and he transferred me to George who works for “Ultimate Riviera Travel. I had to ask him several times because he had a heavy accent. I let him talk for several minutes while I looked up Ultimate Riviera Travel online and I found their number, 855-400-8203 and asked him if that was a correct number and he said yes. (Dang, I should have asked him for the number to see if it matched, next time) I told him my objective is to get on their do not call list and asked if he could do that and he said that the system that called me was associated with the first guy that transferred me and he knew nothing about that system. I told him my second objective is to wast as much time of his as I could and he said there are other people that want vacations and he hung up. I was able to keep them on the line for nine minutes! I then called 1-855-400-8203 and a women answered saying “Thank you for calling Holidays.” I said I thought I called Ultimate Riviera Travel and she said Oh yes we are called that too. I told her about the robo call and said I wanted to be on their do not call list. She carefully took my number and repeated it and I said thanks. We will see if they call again.
