Robo call about a vacation package mentions the word Marriott. I pushed 3 to talk to someone, (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can) Victor came on the line I let him talk for about 7 minutes and then he asked me which credit card I wanted to use and I asked him what was the name of his company and he transferred me to Stephen and I asked Stephen who he worked for and he said SKY TRAVEL INTERNATIONAL. I then asked if they maintained a do not call list and he described that since I was transferred he could not do that and described that I should have pushed 8 instead of 1 to get on the do not call list. I told him I have been pushing 8 for years and it does not work so now I have resorted to trying to waste as much of their time as I can. He said that is fine I get paid by the hour. I said I bet your boss will not think that is fine. He said that since I pushed 1 that I was now being charged for an international phone call to Cancun. (I very much doubt that). I said that is fine (calling his bluff) and he hung up on me. I kept them tied up for 12 minutes. After the call, I looked up SKY TRAVEL INTERNATIONAL and got a telephone number 1-800-956-3963 and called it back and pushed 1 and got the same hold music (I think this goes back to the same call center) A woman picked up and wanted my reservation number and I said I did not have one but I wanted to be on the do not call list and she said she could do that and took my number. We will see.
