Foreign speaking individual calls saying that we purchased a $400.00 antivirus software from them. He will never say what he wants just keeps asking for information
i got this scam call on my telephone this afternoon 11-15- 14 the man told me a name i cant remember, saying he was from mega million lottery i won 4.4 million .i would get it in a package monday.i responded telling him i hadnt entered the lottery and knew he was a scamer.and i hung up he tryed calling me several times,after that,
he did not talk to me he talk to my 89 year old mother , i have know ideal who he is tried to call back on my cell phone because i can not call long distance on home phone and a message said the magic jack phone number had to call me
I just got a call from this man, who told my wife that he was David Smith Attorney at law. He asked me my name and I refused to give him my name. He stated that I had spoken with one of his associates about a Debt that I owed for. Prior to this man calling me, I had been emailed about a debt that I was going to be arrested for unless I paid it ASAP. They almost convinced me that I owed Cash Net USA. After further internet checking, I found out that ACS Inc. was a scam the number was 315 351 0546. They didn't even know what my full name was, they only knew my nick name. After telling the man that I would be contacting the FBI, he hung up on me. Then I turned around and called him back and asked him his name and he refused. He continued to ask me my name and he refused to tell me why he called except that I owed his client $200. All of these emails from ACS Inc. using the telephone number 315-351-0546 and this other guy, who claimed to be Attorney David Smith 704-479-1779 are all Scams, so don't let them get to you.
1. It is illegal to make threats of arrest, jail, etc.
2. It is illegal to claim to be an attorney or law enforcement officer if you are not.
3. He refused to give you information --MAJOR red flag!!
Emails, phone calls, faxes & texts are NOT official notification. That would be WRITTEN communication delivered by MAIL!
