They are at it again. Got a call this morning from this number. When I answered they hung up. I called back after reading comments here and on other sites and it is a recodred message from the same WN Positions saying they are the leading online employment placement opportunity and to press 1 to speak with an agent now or 9 if I don't want to be called again so I can enter my # and have their database updated. (more like so they can call me back! lol) Keep trying guy!
I might be worried. Depending on what you told the guy, a lot can be told to someone you think may be looking at you for a legitimate position. And you'd be amazed how little it takes for someone to start false accounts on people now-a-days.
Not sure if/how they would find the people, but I'd at least report it to my local authorities if I felt that I had given out information that could compromise my safety. At the very least keep an eye on your credit status, they don't have to get into your checking account. They just start up new credit/banking accounts of their own and go to town on your name & it can take weeks or months for it to show up as a problem.
I received a call from this guy today on my cell. I responded and he told me that he was following up on a survey I took. I said I didn't take a survey. I asked which company calling from and he kept going on not asnwering my question. He kept asking me were you 18 years or older and did I have a job, ..etc. I kept asking him you need first to tell me who you are and where calling from. He said calling from Florida (but 704 is NC) and then he hanged up. It seems a job scam
got a call from these morons. when i said hello the robovoice said "you have been disconnected from this conference." so i called them back. Chris from WN Positions stated i had filled out a survey stating i was looking for a job. I told him that he & his company were being reported to the Fed Govt for violating the Do Not Call list & that he & his company should enjoy that $10,000 FINE (yea like THAT will happen).
This number called my cell number earlier, but what happened was when I answered he said, thank you for calling this morning, how can i help you?.....so i told him um i didn't call you, you called me, and he slammed the phone down roflmao.....I did do an online survey for a clinical study though, but have had contact with that company and it ain't him!
Oh, and it's a VOiP number, so he's using a computer to make the calls.
