Beware of these people. They have many faces. I have received calls from this number on my cell phone and my work number. The automated voice most recently states from the Office of Thompson & Baron Associates (spelling). The voice also said documents will be served to my place of residence or local authorities if I don't call them back at 888-313-9261. This is so strange because I have also received many calls from Baron & Thompson Associates with the same threat and the same call back number. However, the phone number they called from as Baron & Thompson was 877-563-9875. The first call stated I owed a loan, that had already been paid, and I told them to stop calling my work phone. That has not stopped. I was told I would be served in an hour. They even called my employer saying the sheriff will be at my place of employment to serve papers in an hour. That was several days ago and nobody has shown up. It seems they have changed out phone numbers and switched the names around. Is this so they won't be found? I called an attorney and reported them to the FTC. DO NOT give them any personal information of any kind.
got many calls from this number and leave a message telling me I owe a pay day loan for check and go back in 2008 and they are going to have papers served had two from same person only private number might add I dont have any pay day loans or a checking account. The person calling is a paul ward telling me to call the legal department at 8772869988 to settle the problem lets just say I dont and wont because it is fake and I dont owe any pay day loans if I needed a loan I would go to a bank and get one and not to pay you.

I received the same calls and when I asked them to give me the name of the court handling my case and my case number they hung up. This is a huge scam and they think by saying you will be served they will scare you or family member into getting you to give money. Don’t do it!
I received a call from some guy with Thompson Baron & Associates on my work phone saying I would be served papers if I didn't return there call about a very important matter. They said I either needed to return their call or call my attorney. I haven't been in contact with an attorney, so I knew this was a scam. I have no intention of calling them back. I have no reason for a number with a North Carolina area code to be calling me at work or at all.
I get messages saying press one to connect the call.
Why would I connect a call? I keep an eye on my accounts and credit report, so no clue why they would be calling.
