Agreed, I'm getting the same calls over and over again but they hand up before I can get to them. I called back to find out who is calling me and they answered "IRS can I help you". I know better than when calling the IRS, you don't get right through to them, you must wait on hold for a very long time, have a case number etc. You do not receive calls from the IRS, you get certified letters from them.
This is just one of many numbers that the fake IRS scammers are using to try and part gullible people with their money. There are no lawsuits, so ignore them. It's a robocall, otherwise you could tell them where to stick their IRS lawsuit. I've tried to block them but they just keep changing their phone number. Seriously annoying.

"please call us immediately our regarding your file" I called back and a man answered IRS, I said IRS really? who are you calling for? he said nothing else, I told him his numbered was being traced as we spoke, he hung up. I called back and let it ring forever... it disconnected and said the mobile caller you are calling is not available. I am pretty sure the IRS would not be calling from a mobile phone. plus since we have dealt with the IRS before I they do not operate with such casualty. scam and they aren't even good at it.
The phone range at 8 AM. No one calls me at that time, so I didn't answer the call. It was a 38 second recording from Sulphur, KY. That call was from the 704 area code and the next day I got an identical recording from 502-706-0696 based in Lincolnton, NC. I don't think the IRS has any offices in either of those cities.
