I got a text from this phone number: 704-550-2785 and it had my first name in the text.
When I texted back 'who is this' - they responded with a message saying something like 'lol, if you want to know who it is to add them on yahoo with id textgirly47'.
I saw in other posts about this that they could be using the gps tracker to hack into the phone to get credit card, etc info - don't know if this is technically possible. Will be reporting to Verizon and Yahoo.

Received the same exact text with my first name on 10/27/12. They wanted me to add their yahoo messenger with "txtiegirl8". Glad I found this site and did not add to my yahoo.
