This morning I received a call from PMAB 1-704-553-7146. The call switched over to my answering machine and all it did was send continuous beeps. Eventually I had to erase the beeps. Looking back at previous calls on 800notes it appears to be a caller from a medical collection office. There is no way I owe any money to a medical office. If you call again at least have the courtesy of leaving a spoken word message instead of an incessant beep.
I have been in and out of the hospital since May and the first one was in the course of that month. I have just been discharged yesterday and so I have to divide what I pay and my med charges are such as they will be lucky to get 5.00 a month. The information is invaluable. I have no idea where the bill is coming from since I am trying to grasp it all. Thanks for the info...it is going to be a mess for awhile and I have a legal dispute in one case. I am on disability and barely made it off my income before all of this. At the moment I am just trying to figure this out. This will be a big help.
I keep getting a recorded message from this company. I'm not interested and don't want any more calls. I have no outstanding medical collections or anything else, so I should not be contacted.
I like the sentiment, but unfortunately most companies have unlimited calling just like our cell phones. It will seriously annoy the people answering the phones, though, since they get bonuses based on how many promises of payment they receive.
