I've gotten about 6 calls per day for 4 days from this number. It's the same as reported above, someone with an Indian accent asking me to participate in a supposed survey. At first it showed up as "dir asst nc" on caller ID, now that I've asked them to stop calling several times it has switched to "unknown."
I'm sure they'll call again, when they do I'll try to get info to report them.
Imagine the caller is a cat and that every time you pick up the phone the cat is fed.
Don't pick up the phone. Don't feed the cat, or the cat will keep coming back.
You care too much and spend far too much of your emotional capital trying to fight an entity on the other side which is in all likelihood some sort of bot. I can guarantee that they don't care one whit about you.
Don't engage them, don't feed them, don't give them power over you. NEVER pick up the phone if you don't know the source. If the call is valid they will leave a message. Get a call blocker and use your emotional energy on something more worthwhile.
