Woman wanting to speak to the owner or president of the business concerning GSA contracts.   The usual scam where they try to imply they have one for you, when the don't.  She had the nerve to say that she wasn't in violation of the DNC list when I informed her that she was and that her call was being reported.

Always ask these bozos what company they are calling from before you give them any information or assist them in reaching the intended party....

If she was calling in to a *business* phone number she was not in violation of the DNC registry. (Of course, the rest of the pitch was pure scam!)

I received a call from this GSA caller in a phone listed with the do not call registry.

I received a call directly from a woman named Myra saying she was with a company that works with the GSA called Contract Awards Services.  Wanting to charge $7500 for a 5 year contract with the federal government.  I decided to call the GSA directly and the listing can be done via the GSA directly for free.  The person I contacted at the GSA said there are no companies out there sanctioned by the GSA or the federal government to call on their behalf. Although it sounds very well scripted, they ask some questions that really should not be any of their business however they do not ask for any account numbers or sensitive information. I did call this number back and if it were a business they would have answered, "Good morning, Contract Awards Services, may I help you?". Instead, I got "Hello, this is Myra.". Needless to say, I told her I contacted the GSA and she seemed somewhat surprise. At least she was pleasant.

Got the same call from Myra.  Claiming she had a contract from the GSA they'd like me to fulfill.   Oddly, she didn't know we are a service based business and not a product based one.  It was quick to reveal she was not who she said she was.   They basically are trolling the listings of submissions to Government Contract SAM codes and CAGE codes .   This is a classic scam, just like the guys who call and try and sell businesses Sect. Of State Listing Services.   The GSA provides all the vitals, numbers and even your local SBA to get set up.  You do not need ANYONE to file a 5 year contract with the GSA.
