Sweepstakes.com is inviting me to enter a $25,000 sweepstakes, and if I agree, they will call me again tomorrow with the drawing results and more offers. There is a recording beep sounding in the background. No thank you!
This is scam from "The Daily Jackpot.com". They ask you to answer a lot of survey questions and then you are offered trips or gift certificates. But first you have to pay a fee by giving them your credit card or debt card number. I just argued with one of the reps that said he was located in AZ. The number that originally called me is in Charlotte NC. Once you start taking the survey and once you press the correct answer that you would like more info on then you are asked to give your card number before they will send you the prize. The rep from AZ would not give me his phone number but his name was Toby Williams (sounds like he is from Portia Rico) and he told me his operator number was 93292. I doubt he is from AZ and this isn't his operator number either. He refused to put his supervisor on the phone and would not agree to talk to our NC Consumer agency. (which I expected).
