Capital One Auto Finance - Just one of the many different numbers that they use to call you. I have received 18 calls today from 9 different numbers to my 2 contact phone numbers. This is after I have made my payment and worked out an arrangement with them on a 1/2 car payment that is 9 days past due. Unreal!!!
I have never done any business with Capital One Auto Finance and they have me on an automated call sequence and are continously call me. I owe them $0.00 and never did. I just file an FTC Federal Trade Commission complaint and encourage anyone else to do the same.
Yep, Capital One has told me that they have a policy of continuing to call over and over again throughout the day EVEN THOUGH they have accepted payment arrangements for a past due payment. 20-30 calls per day for a payment that is less than a week late is ridiculous. And they wonder why debtors block their calls? Duh! They abuse their contact privileges and use the phone to harass, not to facilitate.
I hope that anybody considering a car loan through Capital One does enough research before-hand to find the pages-upon-pages of complaints filed about them online by their customers (or should I say "victims").
