called me told me that i took out a payday loan n i never did ...on march 14, 2011 which i didn't ...n knew to much of my info....if someone can help me to report this to someone in authority.....cause they r saying that i can go to jail.....n they were going to report me to the state i live in to come to myhouse and arrest me..is this true????
GOT SEVERAL CALLS FROM THIS # AND A VERY RUDE PERSON LADY LEAVING A NASTY VOICE MAIL AND GOT SCARED OFF COURSE, ACUSED OF FRAUGENTLY TAKING A PAYDAY LOAN AND SENDING A COURT ORDER TO GET ARRESTED,WHAT KIND OF LAZY PEOPLE OUT THERE. WELL, OF COURSE CALLED BACK,THE RUDE PERSON ANSWERED,LIZA WATTSON,A VERY GOOD ACTESS WOW!!! PLAYED ALONG I GOT VERY BAD BECAUSE SHE HAD ALL MY INFO,GOT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY I TOLD THEM I NEVER WENT ON LINE TO MAKE A LOAN AND SHE SAID I WALKED IN,TO CHECK AND GO, LOOKED UP THE #AND CALLED NEVER APPLEYED FOR A LOAN 2012,MY COMPLIMENTS TO ERICA, SHE HELP ANSWER MY QUESTIONS,AND GAVE ME ANOTHER # TO CALL.SO LETS NOT PANIC,GOD REALLY LOOKS OUT FOR THE GOOD PEOPLE.THE COMPANY I WAS SUPPOSE TO SEND THE MONEY WAS JJFSLLC JACKSONVILLE,FL IT HAD TO BE SEND MONEY GRAM OR DEBIT I TOLD THEM I WANTED PROOF SO I WAS GOING TO SEND A CASHIER CHECK THEY SAID NO.WELLGOOD LUCK! Same thing happen to me! A lady called name Lisa Watson on 1 day and Melissa Hardings from another day! She states She was calling from NCES check and fraud dept (which I looked that up too and that didnt check out either)and she stated I was going before a judge if this item wasn't paid today and started asking for my info I was already informed about fraudulent people calling trying to get money from a coworker and asking for personal info. I got off the phone and googled this number and found this post!!! Thank God for watching over me!!

Debt is civil, not criminal, so no, you cannot be jailed, even if you did default on a loan. You said you never took out a loan - that should be your cue to realize these callers are nothing but extortionist scammers. Your callers can "report" you to the state you live in all they want - NO ONE is going to come and arrest you!
Please do report your callers to the FTC - www.ftc.gov, the FBI - www.fbi.gov and your state's Attorney General - you can find your state AG here - www.naag.org.
If the callers have your SSN and/or banking information, then you should seriously look at getting identity theft protection. For your banking info, call your bank(s) and ask them to place fraud alerts on all your accounts. Call at least one of the three credit bureaus - Experian, Equifax or TransUnion - and ask them to do the same. Let them know scammers have your personal information.
