I recieved a call from this #, and it said this is a test, and hung up. I checked my electric bill and it is not due until 5-2-11. I'm nbot sure what this about.
it is a curtisity reminder from Union Power Cooperative that you have a past due balance. Hey it's nice they let you know befroe disconnecting your power

I got the same call this evening, 'this is a test'. It was an automated call and then it just disconnected. Don't know why, maybe testing a notification system of some kind. BTW, my bill isn't due yet either!
hmm, I live in FL and don't have Union Power Cooperative for a provider, so I guess it is really nice they are notifying me that I service I don't have is about to be past due. Perhaps they have a broken process that is sending out auto-calls to anyone and everyone in the (704).
I've received a couple calls over the last few weeks letting me know that they were doing repairs, and giving a warning that there may be short service interruptions on a given day and time frame. I think it's nice that Union Power gives these courtesy calls.
