Received a call from this number today around noon and hasn't been the first time either, I did not pick up. Caller ID indicated "Unknown Name" and whenever I get one of those I never pick up and will come to 800notes.com to check the posts about the number.
Didn't leave message. I don't answer calls from number I don't know.
The caller ID said V92317434000311 then the Charlotte number as the number calling in
I received a phone call from a Charlotte number. The man on the line said he was calling from Wilmington Fire Dept and was collecting donations for the Fallen Firefighters Fund. I asked why he is calling from a Charlotte number and he sounded shocked that Caller ID does in fact exist and he stumbled over his words. I hung up. I do in fact live in Wilmington and have already spoke with the actual WFD about these phone calls and they confirmed my suspicion. They are indeed a scam. Sometimes they call from a Fayetteville number, I guess to fake out people in Wilmington, considering Fayetteville and Wilmingtom both have the 910 area code. I just hope nobody is actually giving them money.

I just received my 10th phone call from 704 705 1390 in a week. I DO NOT answer calls I don't recognize the number or name so.. they can just keep wasting their time and money on me if they want to. that's why I pay for caller ID since the DO NOT CALL list doesn't work. come on, call me some more, I need the laugh!
Got a call from this number. ..says he was with the local state troopers. Asked if I could donate some money. When I responded no, the voice on the phone says, well I am glad you asked. Seems to be a recording and not an actual person. I hung up and they haven't called back.
