The caller said he represented Publishers Clearing House and that I had won $25,000. He said PCH would be at my house at 2:30 pm with balloons, their car, cameras, etc and that i would be on TV. Emphasis was on the taxes for the prize; he said I would have to pay the taxes on the prize up-front. I told him I didn't believe him and that he could just forget about it. He actually called two times from the same number. I don't think PCH would require taxes to be paid upfront and I don't think they would have called in this manner. He tried to argue with me about taxes having to be paid when they delivered the check.
BEWARE!!! Received a call on my cell that claimed they were from Mega Millions Lottery and I just won $5.5 million. They were trying to get me to give them personal information, but refused and eventually hung up on them. I tried to look up the number on yellowbook.com but no information was available. I went on the Mega Millions website and the office is in Raleigh and these people were saying to be out of a small branch in Charlotte.
Received prank call from this number saying my husband was making out with someone, says he knew him but couldn't tell me my husbands name. Don't answer and report this number
CALLER SAID I HAD WON MILLIONS AND UPS TRUCK WOULD BE PULLING UP TO MY HOME AND THEY WOULD BE WITH THEM TO TAKE PICTURES OF ME. WHEN HOW I WAS ENTERED IN CONTEST, THEY SAID EITHER BY SHOPPING AT WALMART KMART OR WALGREENS, THEY HAD FOREIGN ACCENT AND WHERE HARD TO UNDERSTAND. ASKED IF I PAID MY UTILITIES ON TIME, WHEN I ASKED WHAT THAT HAS TO DO WITH ANYTHING, THEY PRETENDED TO HAVE BAD CONNECTION. WHEN I TOLD I COULD NOT HEAR GOOD THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL BACK AND DIDN;T.
This number left message about my daughter and her plump ___, after they said "what's up 'our last name'" another message said something about being paid back for a bag of marijuana. The voices sound like young black guys. I'm really tired of it. We have received calls from 704-765-8802&3
SCAM!!! Caller with bad accent said he worked for UPS and that I had won $250000 and a new Benz. Ask if I was going to be home to accept my delivery? I ask him which house would the delivery be made to....that I owned 5 homes and I wouldn't want to miss that delivery! LOL He couldn't give me an address......"the house in Nashville isn't that where you live?" Yes....of course! NOT!!!! I don't live in Nashville! I was then instructed to go to the CVS or Walgreens or Rite aid and purchase a $399 visa card so that I could pay the taxes/delivery of my PRIZES! Yes....I'll rush right out and get that! Stupid people! I then called the number from the home caller ID using my cell and it went to a MAGIC JACK connection and would not connect because it didn't recognize my cell number. I'm sure they will be calling back tomorrow wanting that visa card number that I rushed out and purchased! BLOCKED!!!
