Keeps calling my number because it's attached to the address of our apt. building. They are trying to get ahold of another resident who didn't pay a bill.
This is a collection agency. Received a call looking for my husband's first wife under her newly married name. They have been divorced for 12 years. Our phone number has been mine longer then I have known my husband. I explained this to the gentleman and he was very apologetic and asked if I had a contact number for her which of course, I gave them. I asked how the number was contected with her and he said that he did not know how they connected the number. He apologized again and said that my number will be removed from their system within 24 hours. This isn't the first time that this has happened and I really don't understand how these collection agencies are connecting numbers but they really should investigate it before they go calling people. At least this guy was nice about it.
