Called my cell phone. When my cell phone went to voicemail after 4 rings, caller hung up and did not leave a message. The call location displays as Belmont, NC.
Signed up for online course through Mitchell Community College and turns out the college was hosting an ad that provides scammers with your phone number. Now my phone is getting spammed several times a day. I contacted Mitchell CC but they have not responded in weeks. Be aware public institutions can accept phony ads and scams for revenue, they don't appear to give a rats @$$ as long as the money comes in.
