You can give yourself a chance at that if you're able to prevent unwanted callers from getting any kind of answer from you. Certainly do NOT return calls back, either. Quick hang ups are often a test for getting a live voice. They know your number works now, thus the calls continue.
The same recorded voice calls from different numbers every single day. It used to be "hello & congratulations." The numbers & message change slightly over time but the purpose won't, it's a scam.
This number called, in French, today (I speak french btw) saying I was illigible for a loan. I immediately hung up and blocked the number on our phone "Call block" feature. *sigh*
