Claimed to be "IRS" and that I needed to take action immediately to prevent being arrested for non-specified tax issues. Callback number was provided. (Sounded like this is one of the recently well-publicized phony "IRS" scam actions that we have been warned about.)
Correct, I actually just got a call from them few minutes ago, it is a recording, I do not get mad I get even, I called them back, since I work for the GOV. I called a trace on them too, the person on the other line started threatening me, to get arrested like right now, said no problems send them and while you are at it, I am tracing your call, oops, they hung-up. give back some of their poison :-)
Got a message from 706-250-8336. THIS IS A SCAM. The caller does not know my name, claims to be from the IRS, mentions something about federal crime, and asks to call back at 706-250-8336.
