I have heard from this fast talker before. First of all I knew it was more than likely a scam because it had the tell-tale v followed by a bunch of numbers on my caller i.d. I answered the second time they called. I put the phone on speaker phone so that my husband and I both could hear the caller. The man said that he was called from the Paternal Order of Police for New Jersey. Seeing as I live in GA. I asked him why I should give to the Pateral Order of Police of N.J. He then changed it to GA,. I asked him how much of the proceeds go to the police. He cited a state ordinance and he admitted that only 10 percent of the proceeds go to the actually police officers. This is a travesty.
