Didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. Must not have been important. If it was, they would have left a message on my voicemail. Probably a spoofed number and some kind of scam. They are blocked now........
Claiming to be Fraternal Order of Police, soliciting donations, which, if it really is them, is a union, not a charity. I generally don't answer but had some time on my hands and pretended I didn't speak English. He hung up. I received a similar call several months ago while there happened to be a local police lieutenant visiting here. He took the call, put it on speaker, identified himself by name and rank, asked what post he was calling for, etc.etc. The guy got rattled and put a supervisor on the phone. The officer told him he was making an illegal call, and the creep still wouldn't give up. Even tried to convince the officer to donate. He was told never to call this number again. Obviously it doesn't matter to these people. They know it's hard to track them down.
