This number called for days wanting to put a sign on my newly purchased property in exchange for the free installation of a home security system. This was within two days of having a phone number. I registered for the in-house do-not-call list by simply pressing "9". There was no business name, just a recorded female voice. I was annoyed but it's not the worst of phone scams. The caller ID said Athens GA and I live over 2 hrs from Athens GA. No real threats, just a trashy person wanting something. (???)
A black man called my number today with this same scam. I just got this phone number a week ago and told them not to put my number in a phone book either. He asked for Mr. and Mrs. ??????? and said they was doing a free home security check in my area. I said no and hung up the phone. I am disappointed that Charter would give out my phone number.
