I received a phone call from this number and the person on the line said I needed to go to my computer and do what he said. He kept telling me that he was from Windows and that my computer had something wrong with it and they were monitoring the usage. I told him that I would NOT go to my computer. He told me that I had to do what he said. I hung up on him
That Indian joker just called me claiming he worked at an authorized service center for Microsoft. Told me my Windows machine was sending them virus warnings!! I told him he was a bold face liar because I don't run Windows OS. He hung up before I finished my rant. Why can't these thieves be tracked down and shot?

Idea - next time, act concerned that there's a virus and let them know that you don't have a Windows OS but you do use a Macintosh! Ask, could it be my Mac? Be sure to use a tone that conveys being a completely clueless. The guy will probably change his tune and pretend to be able to handle Macs as well. LIARS!! SCUMBAGS!! THIEVES!! Karma dude!!
