You're right, the drug-addicted "card services" callers are bad, but I refer to them as "creatures" rather than people. If they weren't so disgusting, we could have pity on them, sitting in their rows of phone banks ,shaking uncontrollably, and sweating profusely, as they attempt to scam people, in order to support their addictions.
I think you're missing the point. These scumbags are criminals. They couldn't care less about the DNCR, or any other law. If the Feds shut this number down, they'll just use another and continue their illegal activities.
I have got these calls now for 6 years. I started to hit 1 5 years ago, and when they answer I tell them the FTC, FCC, and numerous Att Generals are looking for them... I get lots of responses from them.. One started listing all kinds of 3 letter government agencies such as, "and the FBI, CIA, DHS....", and so on.. Today the person asked me, "Have they found us yet?"... That should tell you they figure the government can spy on government leaders around the world, but they can't stop these scamers. They know I'm not a sucker, but they keep calling anyways.. For the first 6 months I just hung up, and the 2nd 6 months I hit the so called, "Remove" number, and after that I figured I would asked to be removed, and before i could get the words out they would hang up.. Now it looks as if they don't care as long as they can aggravate you..
It's a pre-recorded message asking me to take advantage of some kind of deal. I went through the prompts to get my name off their call list, but they keep calling! I then pushed the prompts to talk to a representative and asked them to take me off their call list, and all they did was hang up on me!!!
