I had a call from this number.Just like the message from Tom3000. Something was wrong with my tax return and I will not receive my return until I fix the problem.I have not filed yet either. So this is a scam or someone else is trying to file by name. I am not contacting them.
I can not say for sure that this call was not legitimate. It is suspicious in that it claimed a problem with a tax return I have not filed. It does seem to be a real business, Tax Slayer LLC, 3003 Taxslayer Dr, Evans, GA 30809. Obviously I worry that someone might be trying to file for a tax return on my name, but it is more likely this is some kind of scam playing on that worry. I am not going to risk contacting them.
