I got a call too. I called back and spoke to Lacey Harrington. Funny thing, same girl called me from a different company a few months ago, saying that I have a check from a Washington Mutual account from 10 years ago made out to a pizza place, and if I didn't take care of it, the check was going to be forwarded to my District Attorney's office. I told her that we spoke before, and she denied it. I asked for the address of the company she worked for, and she gave me the address in Las Vegas. Googled the address,and ends up being pack and ship store in Las Vegas. I called the Pack and Ship place, come to find out they also have a PO box service, surprise right? I called her back just to confirm the address, she stood her ground and swore that was her office. I told her to go ahead and forward that check to the DA's office, we will see how far it goes, and to never contact me again.
Lacey Harrington called me from this number and said she was in Las Vegas. She must have forgot, but she called me a few months back from another fake check company out of Fresno. The Address she provided was for a Pack and Ship place in Vegas, with a PO box service. She swore she's worked for this place for 5 years. It scared me because she had my old Washington Mutual Account info, and my last four of my social.
