same story from Kathleen Straight. I will be subpoened on Monday and will also be arrested for taxes owed and failure to respond to previous (phantom) IRS correspondence. Total scam. I do not know for sure how they make their money but I suspect I will be allowed a "get out of jail card" somewhere along the way if I give them a credit card number or a bank account number.
Just received this call. Cathryn ? claimed that I was in violation of several counts. I pursued information. She read an affidavit to me that was obviously not in legal terms. Claimed I was being subpoenad and would be taken in for questioning. She wanted to know who my lawyer was. Claimed I should have received a letter from IRS, but no such letter.
Called me and told me that I am in trouble with US treasury and owe money from my 2011 taxes. Missing forms 909 and 206. I have to pay $3721 or I am going to jail for six months and after that I will be in charge for $25,000.00. I will lose my job and after this call my bank account will be frozen for investigation. He said that he is officer Ben Blake badge # 11245.
Caller: IRS
just got a call from Kathleen Straight (sp) of dept of legal affairs, u.s. treasury regarding a "very important issue" and that "this is a verbal notification for you in regards to the__________action established in your name". Garbled message also mentions retaining an attorney.
I also got a call from Kathleen Straight(?) about an issue with taxes from 2011 and she wanted my lawyer information. When I called back I spoke with an Indian speaking man who would not let me speak with Kathleen ( she is soo busy). He said information had been sent to us in December. I never received anything. TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!
Same contents as above. Now it was 'Dion Nesh' with a strong Indian accent, barely reading a text. I didn't answer, but this is on my voicemail. He's with the Department of Legal Affairs, and suggested I have an attorney call him. He must be dumb if he really wants to talk with an attorney... I mean, I would expect an attorney to run rings around him. Let's hope a real government agency calls him one day.
