Called on home phone. Caller ID said Ramos, Romeo. Rude and aggressive demanding to talk to the owner of the phone number. Asked repeatedly if it was me calling me by my first name. I kept repeating in the same tone " what do you want"? He took to yelling something about being fu**ed up. So I hung up on him. He never did tell me what his scam was!
Same thing here. I apparently have been selected to win a grant of $9000 from the US Government. When I asked where he was calling from he said "what do you mean?" He then gave me a Washington DC address and I said how can that be if you're calling from a California area code. I said how did you get my number, he said you are a citizen. I told him I was on the DNC list. He told me to watch my language after I said this is a scam and remove me from the list. He did not speak English very well.
I just received a call from this number 707.334.5665 that said I was awarded free grant money in CASH. They asked me where do I want to pick it up at Walmart, money order, paypal etc. FRAUD is written all over this.
