Claims Windows Lucense Key has expired.

They claimed my windows key expired. Wanted $399.00 to renew windows, I said I'd get back, and they shut my computer down.  Now what?

I received calls on landline saying that my license key for Microsoft Windows was expired. The phone #s were 800-596-1743, 707-341-6707 ("John William" with Indian accent) and 412-504-7005 ("John Smith" with Indian accent). They wanted me to pay a fee of $300 for life of my laptop. I was to go to one of 4 stores (riteAid is closest) and buy 6 iTunes cards @ $50 each and then type all the numbers on the back of the cards into my computer.

Got a call from "windows tech Support" telling me that my PC was hacked and I could purchase a protection package for $200, $300 or $500 (Lifetime)
