More garbage and rudeness from a company that purports to be responsible for updating your "free Google listing." My advice is to pretend you're the proprietor long enough to tell them not to call back.
Just got this call, but there was just dead air on the other side. Only found on other reference for this number, and it sounds like it's another version of the Google Placement Scam. And it's not Google. It's another company. Any company that doesn't tell you who they are, but instead hides behind just the name of "Google Specialist" is a sham. If their company was any good at what they say they do, they would be trumpeting their name from the rooftops.
As soon as I saw the caller ID with "Web Serv Co", I tapped "Talk" then "Off". If the machine picks it up, they know it's a "live" number and will continue to call. Disconnecting the call before it gets to the machine *seems* to be limiting the repeat calls from these numbers.
Also, blocked the number and reported the call to the FTC (888-382-1222).
