Why call if you hang up when answering machine picks up? Worse than little kid playing with Mommy's phone. Hope they get charged for calling all over the US disturbing people! Caller ID shower CONSUMER AID. In the last month have had 25 calls from CONSUMER ASST. 14 came in from California, then 11 from Texas. Sounds suspicious to me.
I have reported all to FTC since my number is on DO NOT CALL list which doesn't seem to stop these people.
I got a call from this no on sept 7 2015 - phone rang 3 times and then they hung up - 0090713211220019 is what came up on caller ID - I live in Canada so why would someone or a company from California be calling me unless it is a scam. I dont answer these calls
Obviously the reported penalties for this company were not sufficient to get their attention. Maybe the FTC should try putting them out of business and the owners in jail.
