Caller ID read unavailable. Answered the phone. A woman that was obviously in a room full of other people making calls, started to greet me but stopped to chat with her co-worker for a few seconds, then got back to me to ask for "the owner". I quickly told them to put us on their do-not-call list & hang up. Must be a new one starting up since this site doesn't have an entry yet. She never gave me her name or the company's.
A man said they were calling about an investigation and asked for owner. Then went on to try to sell me collection services. I said I was not interested and hung up. They immediately called back, I didn't answer.
These people are some kind of shady collection agency cold calling for business. When I asked them to put us on their do not call list or I would report them to the authorities, the guy said, "which authorities? Are you going to call 911?" when I asked for a supervisor he put me on hold a came right back on the line introducing himself as "Johnnie" the supervisor (same voice) as if I were that stupid. Crooks!!
